Dichotomy
"Dichotomy" is a 2D narrative puzzle platformer game made by me and four other classmates as a group project during a college course that focused on preparing students to work in a group to create game products.
In this game, the player must use cracks in the world located throughout the setting of the player character's childhood home to switch between two versions of the home - two "worlds" - in which some elements are connected, while others may differ. Using the two different worlds is the only way to solve puzzles and progress further into the home.
On this project, I was in charge of overall systems and mechanics programming, focusing on the world switching mechanics and ensuring that changes in one world would affect the other world as intended.
The game can be downloaded for free from the itch page linked below.
